I would like to become a member. I have friends who are part of a different lodge than my area but I do believe in the values and principles of masonry

Most likely only when there is a meeting of one of the Masonic bodies that meet there.

Hey Dutch - I’m in Texas and the lodges I attend are empty most of the time. If you know a Mason, the best thing to do is ask him about Masonry. If you don’t know someone, I would look up the closest lodge, see if they have a website and if they don’t, check out the Grand Lodge or just call that closest lodge.
