I had the privilege to present a brother with his Golden Veterans Award and 50 year lapel pin. Here in California, we recognize 50 and 75 year members. Inspectors (DDGM) present the 50's and the Grand Master presents the 75 year pins for obvious reasons. It was really good to have this brother's wife in attendance to pin her husband. He was raised in 1960 and has been a member in good standing for almost 52 years.
This is one of the perks of being an Inspector. One of the more fun and honorable duties that I have.
