Fight over plaques goes to Midlothian School Board

Thought this might interest some of my Texas brothers:

Apparently somebody feels the Masonic plaque is religious. I don't see this going anywhere as there are many, many public buildings with Masonic plaques on them and I don't see them all getting removed.

Sounds more like some nutters trying to get attention to me.

In the video they state there are two plaques in question. They focus mainly on the church plaque but the only other plaque shown is masonic.

Ah. I didn't watch the video. I just remember a written article a while back about it.

This one made it sound like two plaques with crosses at two locations. It seems a bit light on specifics though.

Both links specify the Christian plaques at two different elementary schools- I believe that is where the confusion lies. I see nothing referencing the Masonic plaques.

That's good if that's the case. I only saw the masonic plaque and the church plaque but maybe the schools and plaques look enough alike that I jumped the gun.
