Just stared the Royal Arch Chapter on Wednesday! Gotta say it was amazing....I loved it...I can already tell you that I'm going to be an all out, dedicated York Rite Mason. Today I'm going through more Chapter degrees and tomorrow morning, the Council degrees...I'm having that nervous feeling...
I can't wait! I've heard there's a lot of history and lessons so i'll keep my ears open. I think we will become KT's before Christmas..so that will be a memorable Christmas present :)
Sorry to hear about this problem brother. I agree with all of our other brothers that action should be taken against this behavior that isn't masonic at all. You would not have this problem at my mother lodge.
I'm excited brothers. I and four other brothers petitioned for the York Rite yesturday and we start in about two weeks!! Just sharing the good news...any advice?? (here come the jokes)
This isn't a huge story or anything, but it's good news. Last night at my blue lodge, McAllen #1110, we had our monthly stated meeting. It was a Thanksgiving dinner/ open meeting and friends and family were invited. We had more people show up than expected (over 80 people). It was a...
haha poop!!! if you notice, brothers....Wendy's meat is SQUARE and the buns are CIRCLES..."the Square and the Circle are equal because they are both 360*" haha i thought that to be an interesting observation

Number 9 is not Masonic AT ALL!!!! What if said only the quran or torah??? NAAAYYY and thumbs down to that one. I am a Christian but this isn't a church...it's a MASONIC Lodge
I know the decision is up to me, and that you probably won't tell me to choose one over the other, but I would like to see if anyone would recommend doing the Scottish Rite first and the York Rite later or the other way around. I want to do both because both seem very very interesting! I'm still...
A suit or tux should be highly recommended, but not mandatory....I do think all brothers should be given a pair of gloves just as you're given an apron....there is a lot of symbolism behind white gloves as well.
I would vote for the use of white gloves in the lodgeroom. The more symbolism and uniqueness in the lodge the greater the impact on the initiates or brothers going through their degrees. I also read once that Mason's wear gloves to help avoid judging one another in the lodge. If i'm a...
I want to start learning how to play the bagpipes...while searching for videos I ran across this song...pretty cool!!!
