Mason at sight ?

Any reports of them I've read, they are very similar and are drawn from the same landmark. We seem to have different perspectives on how the events happen and what is expected afterwards.

Conferring all three degrees on a mister in a tiled space, then presenting him to get elected into a lodge and required to complete his proficiencies afterwards. By the GM with the help of the grand line. That's how making a Mason at sight has been described every instance I've read about.
Not in Texas. What you are describing is called "conferring degrees out of time" and is permitted under Art. 414. "Making a Mason at sight" consists of the GM saying "Poof- you're now a Mason" and is strictly and specifically prohibited under Art. 35.
